Vidya Vriksh Gurukul is an activity-based preschool and afterschool program designed to serve the educational needs of the children of Kishan Nagar Farm in Uttar Pradesh, India. The children are part of the local Tharu community comprised mostly of farm labourers who have worked at Kishan Nagar farm since 1955. Our goal is to ensure that each child develops into a well-rounded individual who can achieve their full potential.
This is a project of the Bhalla Khurana Anand Educational Trust.

Introduction and Welcome
to Vidya Vriksh Gurukul Families
from our Education Director.
Our school is located at Kishan Nagar Farm in Uttar Pradesh, near the border shared between India and Nepal in Tehsil Nighasan in the district of Lakhimpur-Kheri. The farm is nestled between the national parks of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve and the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary.
